Shi'Ann Jones
I'm a gift from above.
​At the age of fifteen months, death wanted me. After four days of a high fever and lying in the hospital I was released back in the care to my parents still ill from a sickness caused by a "rotovirus." On the fifth day, my parents prayed to God asking him to restore me back with health.
It was two o'clock in the morning, after my parents prayed over me, I begin to make some noise in the bedroom. God had answered their prayers. It was several weeks later my parents begin to hear me mimic sounds from songs I would hear and sing random words. This is when they knew God had returned me back to them, but with a special gift from above. The gift is to sing to bless others.
ABOUT ME
1st and foremost I would like to thank God for blessing me with a "gift of voice" to honor Him with my singing. None of this would be possible without His favor and continous love. I look forward to the future and all things to come.
Special thanks to all of my family. My parents: Ricky & Marilyn Jones who always support and challenge me to embrace my gift and be different, especially my father who is also "my vocal coach" and has brought to this point, "I love you, both!"
To all of my big brothers and my sister; especially "Trey" for really believing in me...love ya! To my Uncle Micheal for taking an interest in my singing career. To all of my family that I didn't mention in Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Georgia, Oklahoma, Virginia, and Kentucky.
Thank you to all of my FANS (known and unknown) for sticking by me from the start of my journey. None of this will be worth it without having you all supporting and identifying with my gift.
